Thanks so much, Jake! I remember listening to your making comics podcast interview with Jason Brubaker while inking chapter 1 of space mullet! You’ve been an inspiration since the birth of this comic, for sure.
wow… looks like the sibling face off (two brothers enter, one brother leaves) has a more complicated mythos behind it and not as brutal and barbaric as i first thought… love the (what i perceived to be) final fantasy nod in the big sword the Thor look a like is wielding… can’t wait to see what comes next!
Remember the time, when all we knew about Zozobians was that they are prodigal with toilet paper?
We’ve come a long way since, and you, Dan, are to be praised therefore.
Goes without saying that I adore the diversity you present here.
One further nice touch is how Grumpy is the first to fall in. There’s a time and place for the reluctant fighter, for the we are five idiots standing in a circle attitude, but that time and place is not now and here!
I love these new guys, and I love the mythology and society you’ve created here.
And…I love YOU.

Interesting little ritual. I do like the characters! looking forward to knowing more about them.
Thank you!

It’s tough, cause I want to take my time and world build, but I have my characters arcs that come first!
Oh I am truly gitty right now. Very cool stuff!
Intense panel! What a peek into the backstory of this warrior culture!
Thanks! Gotta fit it in where I can!
