Considering he’s a cyborg, he would have to have human parts. Or rather, he is a human with robotic parts. The question always is, how much of each does he have? 😉
Daniel, the panel layout of this page is extraordinary. And the individual panels are amazing.
Your favorite panel nicely contrasts the first; the switch from cheerful to askance is in the faces and the posture, and emphasized by the closing in.
My favorite panel is the second one. It tells us so much about Sis’, without much effort. It creates a high contrast with the last panel, similar to the Howard and peggy panels, but this time the change is ephasized by widening up. And it also mirrors the panel with Al’, with these both panels creating a perfect frame for the two middle rows.
And from first to last panel, the sense of crisis, of impending doom, is steadily increased.
Wow, Tim, thanks for that wonderful examination! I wish I could say I was thinking that hard about it, but I was mostly trying to figure out how to fit it all on one page! Either way, I truly appreciate the thoughts and the kind words!
IMO, the difference between “thinking that hard about it” and “trying to figure out how to” is in the process used, not in the dedication applied. While we may call the process “intuition” and the outcome”serependity”, it is nevertheless the result of the artist’s strive for quality and attention to detail.
curiouser and curiouser… warboy… i like that… Howard the Warboy… has a nice ring to it me thinks
Yeah me too! It’s very rare for me to think of a name for something that I don’t hate!
So Howard is human? Interesting, I was wondering what he was all this time.
Maybe he didn’t ask to be made? To be taken apart and reassembled, several times?

Actually I shouldn’t say human… I should say /organic/ parts.
A great question! I cant wait to dive into more of his story!
Not human, per se, but maybe part human….
Chill, Howard…
Two typos:
1. ciertanly -> certainly
2. Sister twin sister is one sister too many
Thx!
Still a typo… It’s certaInly
Haha! Thank you for your help! I think it’s fixed now. I appreciate it very much! Thanks for reading!

In a word: You rock!
Warboy… I thought she was talking to Jonah.
