I got pretty emotional when I drew this. I hope you guys stick with me through the heavy parts.
BTW, I did an interview over at the MakingComics.com podcast , where I talked a lot about my comic making progress, Space-Mullet, and my faith. You should check it out and get a better idea of how my brain works.
Thanks for reading and see you Thursday.

Bummer…
yeah…
I need to stop reading these at work people start staring when i am screaming WHAT! under my breath and throwing my arms in the air
Hahaha this comment made my day.
This is such a sad scene, so moving… and you have conveyed it so well. You’d make Eisner proud. Beautiful composition on the last panel, with the shadow cast over the big guys head… it speaks so well to us. Amazing.
Whoah! Thanks for that awesome compliment, friend! I’m glad the shadow worked, i was worried about it.
oi… and sigh… your command of mood and emotion is just so… deft… the last panel, the long shadows… it is just gutting…
heavy or not, your work is eloquent and sincere… you’ve got yourself a long time fan here
Thank you, Tony.
woah. Sad, but it’s awesome that she could help him. (I found your comic through the making comics interview. The story has me hooked! thank you btw, for not making the comic full color. It would have been too intense for my tastes, with the amount of death and blood in the story. there are quite a few comics I just don’t read because they’re over the top for me. But you’ve handled the mix very well!)
Im glad you liked it! I understand about the violence part. I like to bring to light violence in a way thats kind of over the top cartoony, and I realize it’s not for everybody. Thank you for taking the time to read it! I hope you keep with it.
VERY VERY AWESOME Podcast!!!. listened to the hole thing and it shed light on some great points and tips. ill be a C2E2 this years as well.Keep Up the Great work!
DUDE awesome. I’m so glad you dug the interview, and looking forward to catching up at C2E2.
:’-(
I know…:(
well, I came to terms with this development a couple of pages back.
To quote Stephen King “kill off your darlings”
Well said, man. Thanks for sticking with me for so long.
You can’t “hope” for us to stick with you. Yous should KNOW we will be with you because your work is amazing. (Maybe you can hope we don’t cry and scream too much in public. That would be a nice wish.)
Haha, fair enough! Thanks for reading!
Only the good die young. I knew it was coming but actually being there for the end is far worse than I expected. It is very cool that you invest so much of yourself into the story and the art. Makes everything so personal and potent.
