Interesting way to bar the door, which I suspect will be completely useless on the next page…
You guessed it!
Almost got a completely different post just now. You need a bigger border around that inset panel – otherwise it just looks like he’s wearing forearm armor of some kind – it took me 2-3 minutes of typing and looking before I realized it was a panel in a panel. Only the parallel lines at odds with the perspective of the art finally clued my eyes in to it.
Your detail is getting pretty awesome!
Ivan,
Thanks for the CC! Noted, and changed, let me know what you think.
that makes it stand out better! So does the sound balloon rising from it. The tri-tone has got to make everything about the strip more difficult to plan out vs. two or unlimited spot colors.
I like it when that dumbass on the left side “loses his head” when things get exciting! (see next strip!)
oh… the breach… the breach… its almost liek whale watching… but i bet there is more explosiveness 8)
Haha, I love whale watching.
The “creak” makes me think of something massive pushing on the door. Maybe he’ll just come through the wall instead.
I put that creak there mostly so it would contrast the massiveness of the next page!
