Double page! As promised! Sorry it’s a bit late today.
Make sure if you’d like to see the full resolution to right click on the image and hit “view image in new tab.” Looks a lot better that way.
Enjoy!

THERE’S HOWARD!!!
And an add for a smash derby, that’ll be where Peggy’s headed.
Nice job spotting Howard!
wow… this is another one of those panels that i would pay good money for to own… gorgeous detail and wonderful “flavor” of the locale… you’ve outdone yourself once more!! kudos kudos kudos!!! what a wonderful spread!
oh… and i love the fact that The Doc and McFly are there in your universe with their mode of travel 8) very nice sir!!! well done… another fav. is the Bantha shaped and sized humanoid carrying medieval knight’s charger!
I try and sneak stuff in sometimes. Thanks for your kind words! The knight and horse thing just kind of happened by accident. The best kind!
Awesome spread, man. Loving the giant horse thing and the sweet motorcycles.
The horse guy was a happy accident, of all things! Thanks Leo!
There’s more than a few thousand words in that picture. Those guys on the big beastie need a loyal employee following with shovel and pail. The depressing thing is that it looks like my neighborhood…
‘a few thousand words’? How about a Thousand Stories!
Great comic DWJ. Your attention to All details, art & story, keep me coming back. Thank you!
Thanks so much guys, it means a lot. Really glad you dug this one!
Damn. I love every detail of this spread. One of my favorite pages so far. Just amazing, hats off to you =)
Thanks for your support my man!
Quote:”following with shovel and pail”
Us that are old as trees remember that even after WW II, most commercial
delivery traffic was still horse drawn…plus tourists shown around in horse drawn carriages resulting in manure pile ups at intersections that was over three feet thick, necessitating a collection service like snow in winter…connected to all the horse manure was thick clouds of flies and even thicker clouds of sparrows…crossing a street was a true hazardous task…woe to who fell face first in all the crap! Aaaaand the smell…ungodly…truly hellish!
Well the NMC Paddy-wagon is right there… I wonder what the penalty is for crapping on a city street in the subs?
A night in a nasty cell! I wish I had time to go into all the details of the city! I hope I used the most of this spread to immerse you guys! Thanks for your comments!
Smash Derby!! And f***ing awesome panel!
Thank you so much! Took me a long time!
You are filling some of the gap left by Moebius, (RIP).
DUDE. That is some high praise. THANK YOU!
Bitchin’. Just bitchin’.
Thanks man! You are too kind!
So, can I paint this?
How about a painting competition, Dan?
Like, a digital coloring competition of this spread?
That being said, feel free to color any of my pages! Please just make sure to credit me and link to the site. But let’s talk about a competition!
I love that there is a wormhole cafe! Wonderful touch, dan! (For anyone not from Chicago, Wormhold is a sci-fi themed cafe in the Wicker Park neighborhood)
I just wrote about half of chapter 4 there this past weekend!
