I am super happy with this page! Just really, really proud of it.
Here is another print I’m going to have at C2E2:
See you soon!

Gorgeous! The stars and the backround is so expansive. Man you’ve got some patience and dedication!
The skyscape is almost in movement. The guy leaning on the right side reminds of how I would act.
I’ve been following your comic since you started and it just keeps getting better, but it’s not so humorous…
That’s the beauty of it, the wonderful depth of the story and the characters.
Oh ho! A dream eh? I see!
Daaang. That is a beautiful page.
That’s a page you could turn into a poster or a print for sale, and people would buy that.
Thanks man! I wanted to print it out, but I just didnt have time.
Are you keeping these things layered in Photoshop? You may have a market with Motion Comics if you do. Just a thought.
Thats a good thought! I’m not, but who knows, maybe someday…
Please become Art Director of the next epic Scifi Videogame. This is exactly the atmosphere nobody every really gets right.
youre too kind, my man! Thank you for the kind words. Mood is important to me, and I’m glad my effort is being noticed!
yeah… the perspective on this page is just gorgeous… the hero walking off into the distant unknown… man… were i still a disillusioned english major… i’d point out the symbolism behind how the page was lit… how the light only shines on the interior of the ambulance, where the rescued woman must be… a sign of hope? and how the light also shines on our hero… possible foreshadowing his future past? a nod to his destined role? how there is a beacon of light in the otherwise darkened world?
but thank god i am no longer a disillusioned english major… i’d have to silence myself otherwise 8)
wow, Nice commentary! So cool how you guys make this story your own. Thanks for reading, Vonbek, and for being vocal!
Gorgeous page, but it doesn’t load in Firefox 20.0.1. Safari/WIN on the other hand works fine.
Yes, nice page!
Due to the way the story is presented, in bits and pieces that we collect and assemble like information in real-life, I’m guessing that Howie has had some major damage that has been augmented. The mask/helmet that he uses might have optical sensors that work in combination with implants. He could even be blind but rebuilt through technology. Best guess…
Hmmmmm….
Part of me is sad that a new page didn’t come up today.
But there’s a much bigger part of me that just keeps loving this page and is glad to keep looking at it.
FOREVER.
Well okay, not forever.
BACK TO WORK, ART SLAVE! HYAH!
Hahah, you think I’m kidding.
(I am kidding. Maybe.)
You see what happens when I don’t get my fix? 😛
The very old saying: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” (Or even in regular bi-weekly installments!)
But I’m jonesing, man!
Seriously, though, I don’t really mind. I figure he’s at c2e2 or doing paid work or something–which is more important than getting up a new page on a free site.
Exactly. We also contribute as fans, but we have to be patient when we’d really rather not be. Its universal.
Thanks for your understanding, guys! I love Space-Mullet, but rent and money come first, sadly. That being said, SM is incredibly important to me, and I love sharing it with you guys as often as I can, so thanks for sticking around!
I hope you had posters made of that to sell this weekend! Silver paint marker in the shadows at the bottom… perfect for an signing.
Be sure to post pics from this show!

I will be sure to write a blog about C2E2 soon! Thanks, Ivan!
These last few pages have been my favorite so far. Dramatic and intriguing.
